1992 to 1996, he was Director: Hardware Development Business |

his leadership led to a 'Bronze' Malcom Baldrige award in
1993. |
| He
also sponsored the $APPEALS and Portfolio Analysis

as key elements of IPD. In 1989, Mr. Vanderslice was
appointed |
| Director
of technology planning in Technology group. In the
period |
| from
1984 through 1989, he held several management positions

| Microelectronics
Division headquarters' staff. |
